Coral Gables Home by DS Solutions
Overview:
Warm woods and cool metals come together to showcase brilliant design in a space that is both livable and a bit edgy. This Coral Gables home was a project by Design Solutions Miami, and may provide some inspiration for your own space whether from a staging perspective or as a shopping list for these gorgeous furniture inclusions.
Home entrance:
In the home’s entry area, big expression and thoughtful design come together in the dramatic scale of the Odino mirror, a Porada piece designed by Molteni & Baron. Its immense sizing helps to ease guests into the grandness of the home with a bold declaration of what is to come. Additionally, multiple Colony armchairs offer a unique contemporary look to balance the bright splashes of color. They provide a relaxing spot to take in the cool contemporary vibe of the space while admiring these brilliant plays on color.
Dining Room:
A natural light source helps to brighten the room as the classy Butterfly table with rounded edges flows nicely into the Wanda dining chairs for a cohesive look, both Cattelan Italia offerings. This smooth combination offers wonderful approachability, while still being crisp and structured. The base on the Butterfly table is elegantly showcased through the glass tabletop and provides that unique metal design that defines the table. This extremely clean, contemporary styling continues into a linearly inspired kitchen area.
Kitchen:
In the kitchen, the Fl@t Barstools take a bit of the edge off of the sharp linearity of the bar area, with their soft, unified folded look. These Tonon barstools seamlessly work in any modern or contemporary dining space, with their interesting colors and finish options.
Living Room:
The living room showcases the iconic modular Pixel sofa that provides resplendent comfort while still looking clean and contemporary. Arketipo’s Belair Chair by Dainelli Studio offers another cloud-like seating experience, with a spectacularly angular frame to offset all the plush cushions and remind of the importance of structure in a space. The tables are Spillo for Cattelan Italia, and Soda for Miniforms. Spillo has a structured, tall, thin, beautiful stacking effect, while Soda, an award-winning design requires three artisans to simultaneously hand blow the glass to create the incredible table effects.
Bedroom:
Tulip bed by Gamma, with its trademark, wrapped leather headboard softens the experience substantially and provides sumptuous sleeping provisions. Dedalo nightstand provides an even more rounded effect that meshes well with the subtle curves of Tulip. Dedalo is a Pianca offering with several finishes available. Another Gamma offering in the bedroom is the refined, gorgeous bench, the P09, which offers a style that prioritizes the modern tapered, splayed leg design, and the structured cushioning with a decidedly contemporary color palette.
