Debuting at Salone del Mobile 2014: The Odilon Collection by Marco Corti
The new Odilon collection by Marco Corti may give us a few hints into what trends are in store at this year’s Salone del Mobile. The sleek lines and low heights are no surprise for this decidedly Italian design, but we’re seeing a great surge of shiny chrome and gold, paired with cool marble and soft fabrics.
Made of a multi-layered wood frame, the legs of the Odilon sofa are available in black chrome, shiny brushed chrome, gold, or powder painted in black, white, or a soft dove-grey. Feet can also be covered in leather.
The metal frame of the Odilon coffee table and console table are also available in black or shiny chrome, gold, or covered in leather. The top is available in natural stone, polished or matte lacquered wood, rosewood veneered wood, or covered in leather. There’s even a small side table to complete the Odilon collection!
What do you think Marco Corti’s new designs are saying about this year’s trends? Is the Odilon collection on point? Keep up with us on our social networks to be the first to know what’s popular coming out of Italy this week.
